Even though RV life means a smaller space, we’ve made sure everything inside is as large and comfortable as possible. We have a spacious couch, comfy chairs, and a dining area that doubles as a desk when needed. The back bedroom has a bed that lifts during the day, creating more room to relax. The key is making the most of every area and ensuring each space serves multiple purposes. For quiet moments or private calls, the back bedroom is ideal, and Jason often works outside or in the truck to create even more space for the rest of us.

The kids each have their own bunk in the hallway, with blackout curtains and their own air conditioning—making it a cozy space they love. Jason and I sleep in the back, on an almost king-size bed. The kids sometimes use our bed to watch movies, but otherwise, we all sleep comfortably with plenty of privacy.

We have three doors that help maintain privacy, even though they’re not airtight, they work really well in blocking sound. If we need to have private conversations or need quiet time, we can retreat to our own areas. Everyone has their space, and it’s easy to maintain privacy, even in such a small living area.

Date nights are very important to us, and we’ve always found ways to make them happen. In the early days, it meant having dinner outside at the picnic table while the kids watched a movie inside. Now that they’re older (15 and 17), we can go out and do whatever we want for our date nights. It’s about making time for each other, even while on the road.

Our kids absolutely love RV life! They often beg us not to stop traveling, and when we check in with them regularly to make sure they’re happy, the answer is always the same—they wouldn’t change it for anything. They have friends all over the country, play sports, and experience life in a way that's different but fulfilling. It’s a lifestyle choice that works for our entire family, and we’re all on board with it.
